DubMog is now on Android. The real-time dubbing app that launched on iPhone is live on Google Play today, and it is free to download.
What DubMog does
DubMog listens to speech and speaks it back in another language, in near real time. Point it at a conversation, a meeting, or whatever is playing on your screen, and you hear the translation as it happens instead of reading subtitles after the fact.
It works in both directions across 70+ languages, and the on-screen teleprompter shows the original and the translation side by side so you can follow along or save the transcript afterwards.
Three ways to dub
Standard is free and unlimited. It uses your phone built-in voice, which sounds robotic but costs nothing and works all day.
Pro Cinematic is tuned for movies and videos. It prioritizes emotion and delivery, so a dubbed scene sounds like a performance rather than a readout.
Pro Live is for real conversations. It is the lowest-latency mode, built for short back-and-forth exchanges where waiting two seconds for a reply kills the conversation.
Dub a video you already have
Beyond live audio, you can point DubMog at a video file and watch it dubbed. Import from Files, your camera roll, Dropbox, Google Drive, or an Archive.org link, and the dub plays over the video while it runs.
Getting started
New accounts include 10 free minutes of Pro time, no card required, so you can hear the difference between Standard and the Pro modes before deciding whether you want them. Standard mode stays free either way.
If you use both platforms: Pro subscriptions and energy top-ups are billed through the store you bought them from, so buy on the device you use most.
